Personal development
PEGS' extra-curricular programme is extensive and students are actively encouraged to participate and extend themselves through:
- structured social occasions
- leadership opportunities in sports teams, music ensembles and conferences
- teamwork in sport, dance, drama and music performances
- exploring new ideas, trying out new activities
Examples of such activities are:
- The Duke of Edinburgh's Award which is a voluntary programme available to students in Year Nine. The programme encourages self-motivation and a preparedness for participants to test both their physical and mental limits
- Tournament of the Minds
- Eildon Camp
The extra-curricular programme at PEGS is extensive and all students are actively encouraged to participate and extend themselves.
