
Philosophy
Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is dedicated to the provision of an academic curriculum and a broad extra-curricular programme which encourages in each student the development of intellectual curiosity, respect for the traditions of scholarship, the realisation of her or his artistic and recreational potential, and the practice of Christian values.
The school is committed to a curriculum that encourages excellence through the nurture of intelligence, creativity, independence and perserverance. It promotes the view that a student's academic achievement is enhanced by her or his enjoyment of school and engagement in school life.
