Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School operates three kindergarten centres which provide a full-day programme for four to five year old children.
The kindergartens are located at 49, 51 and 53 Raleigh Street, Essendon. Three refurbished houses provide a bright friendly atmosphere which supports the gradual transition to school.
Our programme aims to cater for the physical, social-emotional and cognitive needs of the young child. Play is the young child's medium for learning. By providing a creative and challenging learning environment each child is offered the opportunity and the time to play.
The programme runs five days a week during regular school terms from 8.45am to 3.00 pm.
Out of Hours Care
Facilities for before and after school care are available. All kindergarten children are eligible to use the programme.
