AGSV Girls' Swimming

The 2008/09 Swimming season came to a close on Friday 13 March, in an exciting AGSV contest. The girls’ team, ably led by Katelyn Tadd, was determined to improve on last year’s second placing.

Under the guidance of Lyn Celotti, the team had trained hard and the performance at MSAC on Friday night was their reward. The girls’ team won the event by seven points, with Ivanhoe in second place.

The Under 14 medley relay team of Olivia Larkin, Rebecca Renda, Christina Licciardi, and Rachael Mihatsch broke the record. Christina Licciardi also broke a record in each of her four individual events.

All the girls in the squad are to be congratulated for their commitment this season.
