Messages of Support for those Suffering in the Bushfires
![]() |
| Years 7 and 8 Students from Middle School (girls) I have been so hurt and shocked by hearing of the terrible loss of life, property, pets and livestock. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for you to endure such a horrific experience. I send my condolences to you your family and friends. I pray that when you return that you may find your property untouched by the fire, or if you have suffered such loss, you will soon be back on your feet again. There are many people who are praying for you, and donating goods and money to help you get back on your feet.
I am so sad that so much of our beautiful bushland has been destroyed, our native animals have been injured in this terrible tragedy. I know many people have lost homes and loved ones, take heart that our Australian people are caring and generous, and we pray that you will be supported by their love and generosity at this sad time.
I am shocked and saddened by this tragedy, and I cannot express how much the sadness and devastation has played on my mind. Do not forget that you are not alone. In our prayers today we remembered you, and we know that God will bring you comfort and peace. Stay strong, you have the whole nation behind you.
Homes, pets, personal possessions and loved family members gone in the blink of an eye. Things that have taken a lifetime to collect, pay for and receive, are now mere smoke and ash. Charred bricks lie where a shriving town once stood. These vicious bushfires have destroyed so much of what we took for granted. The flames may have died down, but not the passion for justice that has always been part of our Australian dream. Australia is a tightly knit nation where people are always willing to help their neighbours in a situation of extreme need. Out thoughts and prayers are with you, as you begin the daunting task of rebuilding your lives.
There is no way to express my sadness about the tragedy that is facing our rural communities. It is terrible and I just hope my message of hope will bring comfort and peace to someone who reads it. When you think that there is no one there to support you, just look around at the outpouring of support and love from our Australian people. I hope and pray that things will get better, and that you receive comfort from our love and prayers. |
