We believe that an appreciation for language is at the heart of meaningful cross-cultural understanding.
As part of our commitment to teaching languages, the Confucius Classroom programme is offered at all levels. Building on our legacy of being one of the first Australian schools to offer Mandarin as a subject as well as additional cultural experiences such as our Chinese Music Ensemble, we are proud to have been chosen to provide the first comprehensive Confucius Classroom in Australia.
The aim of this programme is to provide new avenues for teachers, students and parents to understand Chinese culture better. The programme also promotes interaction with our sister school, Datong High School, in Shanghai, and encourages students in both nations to learn from one another.
