Education in the great outdoors has always been recognised as an important part of schooling. Over the years the School utilised many camp locations across Victoria for adventure activities, team building, social skills and environmental study before the purchase of Eildon Camp.
The first groups of Middle School students braved the primitive conditions from March 1984, sleeping in ex army tents, exploring the adjacent Eildon National Park, and helping to build some of the initial infrastructure enjoyed by students today.
