Casual Receptionist / Administration Assistant
- Casual position, 8am to 10.30am daily, commencing as soon as possible

We seek a well presented, professional and highly organised Receptionist / Administration Assistant to provide administrative support and front of house Reception service at McNab House (Middle School Girls, Years 7-10).
This is position will commence asap working 8am to 10:30am, Monday to Friday with the option of potential additional casual administration work across other parts of the school.Â
Working in a busy school environment, you will be confident managing competing priorities, responding to enquiries, processing absences, maintaining accurate information and providing calm, confidential and professional support.
You will work closely with the Personal Assistant and support the Head of McNab House and their leadership teams.Â
We are looking for someone who offers:
- Relevant reception, administration or customer service experience
- A welcoming, service-focused approach and the ability to create a positive first impressionÂ
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence liaising with students, parents, staff and visitors
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
- A professional, discreet and confidential approach
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and data entry; experience with Synergetic would be an advantage
- The ability to draft, format and proofread documents with attention to detailÂ
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a teamÂ
- A demonstrated commitment to child safety, including appropriate behaviours when engaging with children and support for children from diverse needs and backgrounds
- A valid Working With Children Check
