2024 International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women's Day 2024, the PEGS Feminist Collective has organised an afternoon tea for Thursday March 7th from 4pm in the East Keilor gymnasium. A fantastic panel of guests will be discussing issues relating to the UN 2024 theme, 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress'. These panelists include: 

Dr Michelle Escobar Carias, post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne's Department of Economics

Felicity Pringle, McAuley Community Services for Women

Monique Champion, public policy economist at the Commonwealth Treasury

Stacey Earsman, owner and founder of Migrant Coffee

Proceeds from this event will support McAuley Community Services for Women.
