The Role
Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secondary Teacher of English and History to join our Middle School teaching boys and girls (Years 7–10) at the Keilor East campus.Â
This is a full-time fixed term position from 25 January 2027 to 10 December 2027.
We are looking for an educator who brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a commitment to excellence in teaching.Â
The successful candidate will demonstrate they are:
- An outstanding and inspiring classroom teacher;
- Knowledgeable in teaching English and History with a strong understanding of current pedagogical thinking;
- Committed to student care and wellbeing; and
- Dedicated to delivering a high-quality programme.

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS) has approximately 3,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 across campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East.
